"This study aims to determine the function of recreation in the application of the GLAM\r\n(Gallery, Library, Archive, and Museum) concept at the Library Directorate of the\r\nIslamic University of Indonesia (UII). This study was conducted using qualitative\r\nmethods. The subjects of this study consisted of librarians and library users of the UII\r\nLibrary Directorate. The object of the study was the recreation function at the UII\r\nLibrary Directorate which applies the GLAM concept. The sampling technique in this\r\nstudy used the snowball sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study\r\nused several methods, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data\r\nanalysis technique in this study used the Miles and Huberman data analysis model in\r\nSugiyono's book, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and\r\nconclusion drawing/verification. To test the validity of the data, this study used a\r\ncredibility test with source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time\r\ntriangulation. The results of the research on recreational functions in the application of\r\nthe GLAM (Gallery, Library, Archive, and Museum) concept at the Library Directorate\r\nof the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII), namely 1) Gallery: the gallery collection\r\nis still small and the gallery located in the basement is rarely seen by visitors, because\r\nthe design of its position is recessed, 2) Library: the fiction book collection at the UII\r\nLibrary Directorate is still an old collection and there are no children's toys in the kids\r\ncorner service, 3) Archive: the archive collection at the UII Library Directorate is still\r\nsmall and the archives from UII are still scattered in various other units, 4) Museum:\r\nthe collection at the museum is still small and there are dioramas that are damaged and\r\nthe UII Library Directorate does not yet have experts to manage the collections from\r\nthe museum."^^ .
