HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT KEPERCAYAAN TERHADAP PONDOK DAN KEPATUHAN TERHADAP ATURAN PONDOKNIM.: 21107010150Siti Ameliya SariauthorThis study aimed to examine the relationship between trust in the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) and compliance with pesantren regulations among mahasantri (university students residing in a pesantren) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. A quantitative approach employing a correlational design was utilized. The research sample comprised 101 mahasantri who were concurrently enrolled as active university students and residing in Islamic boarding schools within the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data were collected through a trust-in-pesantren scale and a compliance-with-pesantren-regulations scale. The data were subsequently analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation. The findings indicated that the majority of mahasantri exhibited a high level of trust in the pesantren, comprising 79 respondents (78.2%). Similarly, compliance with pesantren regulations was predominantly classified as high, accounting for 68 respondents (67.3%). The Spearman correlation analysis yielded a coefficient of 0.630 (p < 0.001), indicating a positive and statistically significant relationship between trust in the pesantren and compliance with pesantren regulations. These findings suggest that greater trust in the pesantren is associated with a stronger tendency among mahasantri to comply with pesantren regulations, whereas lower trust is associated with reduced compliance.
