N2  - Mass media not only serves as a means of conveying information, but also plays a role in shaping public understanding through the language and narrative used in reporting. In a religious context, the Khazanah Column of the Radar Purworejo Daily presents various information about Ramadan. However, the news does not only convey information about worship, but also contains Ramadan values constructed through text. The problem that is the focus of this study is how Ramadan values are represented in the Khazanah Column of the Radar Purworejo Daily for the Ramadan - Syawal period of 2026. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the form of representation of Ramadan values contained in the news. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Klaus Krippendorff's content analysis and Stuart Hall's representation theory. Data were obtained from 15 articles in the Khazanah Column selected using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The analysis results show the existence of five Ramadan values, namely piety, patience, self-control, honesty, and social awareness in accordance with the values conceived by M. Quraish Shihab in his book Wawasan Al-Qur'an: Tafsir Tematik atas Pelbagai Persalan Umat. The value of piety is the most dominant value, while other values are represented through calls to control emotions and attitudes, control behavior, maintain honesty, and increase concern for others. Based on Stuart Hall's representation theory with a constructionist approach, these values are formed through the language and narrative used in the news. Overall, the Khazanah Rubric represents Ramadan as a momentum to increase piety as well as the formation of personal character, morals, and social awareness.
