This study aims to analyze the function of the Tilik Padukuhan Tradition as a social space for the community and to describe intergenerational involvement in its implementation in Gubar Hamlet, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in depth interviews, and documentation. Data trustworthiness was established through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model developed by Miles and Huberman, which consists of dour stage: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. This study answers the two research questions proposed. First, the Tilik Padukuhan Tradition is shown to function as a social space for the Gubar Hamlet community through three dimensions. Spatial practice is reflected in activities such as mutual cooperation in maintaining the environment, community deliberation, and rehearsals of traditional arts such as Gejod Lesung, dance, and Karawitan. Representation of space is reflected in the planning and division of tasks carried out by the hamlet government, community leaders, and the organizing committee, ranging from determining local potentials to be showcased such as local food, herbal medicine, and traditional arts, to organizing routine community gatherings. Representational space, meanwhile, is reflected in the community’s sense of togetherness and pride in Gubar Hamlet’s identity, evident in their enthusiasm in participating in every stage of the tradition. Second, cross generation involvement is reflected in complementary roles across generations, the older generation preserves and passes down traditional values and arts, as seen in the group of women over fifty years old who perform Gejog Lesung, the adult generation coordination, adolescents and children, become acquainted with cultural values from an early age through activities such as traditional children’s games. This intergenerational cooperation demonstrates the process of passing down the values of mutual cooperation and cultural knowledge that sustains the continuity of the Tilik Padukuhan Traditional amid ongoing social change. date: 2026-08-19 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/79508/1/22102030029_BAB-I_IV-atau-V_DAFTAR-PUSTAKA.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/79508/2/22102030029_BAB-II_sampai_SEBELUM-BAB-TERAKHIR.pdf identifier: Nanda Afit Anggara, NIM.: 22102030029 (2026) TRADISI TILIK PADUKUHAN SEBAGAI RUANG SOSIAL KETERLIBATAN LINTAS GENERASI DI PADUKUHAN GUBAR, GIRIPURWO, PURWOSARI, GUNUNGKIDUL, DI YOGYAKARTA.
