During the 2018–2023 period, economic growth at the regency/city level in West Java exhibited an uneven pattern, with structural challenges such as persistent poverty and varying levels of human capital quality across regions. This study aims to analyze the effects of poverty rates, labor force participation rates (LFPR), and education levels proxied by average years of schooling (AYS) on economic growth in 27 regencies and cities in West Java Province. This study employs an explanatory quantitative approach using secondary panel data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the 2018–2023 period, comprising 162 observations, which were analyzed using panel data regression with the Random Effects Model (REM) as the selected model. The results show that the poverty rate has no significant effect on economic growth, whereas TPAK and the level of education (RLS) have positive and significant effects, respectively, with the level of education being the variable with the greatest influence. Collectively, all independent variables have a significant effect on economic growth, with a Prob(F-statistic) value of 0.0000, while the R-squared value of 0.5290 indicates that these three variables, together with the random effects across regions, account for approximately 52.90% of the variation in economic growth across regencies and cities in West Java. These results are expected to serve as a basis for local governments in formulating development policies that are more oriented toward improving the quality of education, creating productive jobs, and alleviating poverty equitably.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">330.9598 Ekonomi Indonesia</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-08-19</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS ISLAM</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_79537"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_79537_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
