description: This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work conscientiousness on job satisfaction and employee engagement, as well as to analyze the role of employee engagement in mediating the influence of leadership style and work conscientiousness on job satisfaction at Bank Madina Syariah Yogyakarta. This study employs a quantitative approach with 40 respondents. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the aid of SmartPLS 3. The results indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement but does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Work conscientiousness does not have a significant effect on either employee engagement or job satisfaction. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Mediation analysis results show that employee engagement mediates the influence of leadership style on job satisfaction but does not mediate the influence of work conscientiousness on job satisfaction. Thus, employee engagement serves as the mechanism linking leadership style to job satisfaction at Bank Madina Syariah Yogyakarta.
