This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design and uses secondary data obtained from companies’ financial reports. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 48 companies with a total of 288 observations. The results show that capital structure has a negative effect on profitability, while sales growth has a positive effect. Meanwhile, independent commissioners, audit committee, and foreign ownership have no effect on profitability.
