This ability is important for students in Islamic boarding schools, as they are required to cope with academic demands while simultaneously adapting to life in a boarding school environment. This study aimed to examine the relationship between parental attachment, spiritual well-being, and academic resilience among students in Islamic boarding schools. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The participants were 211 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a modified Academic Resilience Scale developed by Kumalasari et al. (2020), based on the academic resilience dimensions proposed by Cassidy (2016), the Parental Attachment Scale developed by Idriyani (2020), which refers to the parent attachment dimensions proposed by Armsden and Greenberg (1987), and the Spiritual Well-Being Scale modified from Putri and Rekawati (2017). The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that parental attachment and spiritual well-being simultaneously made a significant contribution to academic resilience. The regression analysis yielded an Rē value of 0.281 with a significance level of p < 0.001. Partially, parental attachment made a significant contribution to academic resilience, as indicated by a t-value of 2.80, suggesting a positive contribution of parental attachment to academic resilience. Spiritual wellbeing also made a significant contribution to academic resilience, as indicated by a t-value of 7.75, indicating a positive contribution of spiritual well-being to academic resilience. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for developing efforts to support academic resilience among students in Islamic boarding schools.
