This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study to examine the application of Pace and Faules’ theory of organizational communication patterns, which includes vertical, horizontal, diagonal, and informal communication. Data were collected through interviews with four main informants a representative of the Sleman Football Association (PSS) club management and a representative of the Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) supporter group along with an additional triangulation informant who is a professional soccer player. The results indicate that the communication patterns between the Sleman Football Association (PSS) and the Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) supporter group are multidirectional, comprising bottom-up, top-down, horizontal, diagonal, and informal communication. These findings provide data validating that the loyalty of the Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) supporter group toward the Sleman Football Association (PSS) club is fundamentally rooted in pre-existing emotional bonds and social identity.
