Nanda Rahmat HakimauthorThis research is based on the importance of the role of the work environment in influencing teacher performance, motivation, and professionalism, especially at the level of madrasah ibtidaiyah which not only functions as a general educational institution, but also as a forum for instilling Islamic values. The condition of the working environment of teachers at MI Nurul Huda Pulau Batu is interesting to research because it is influenced by the geographical location, limited facilities, and the typical social and cultural character of the madrasah environment. This study aims to examine in depth the application of hygienic factors and motivational factors in teachers, describe the dynamics of the work environment that occur, and formulate strategic efforts to improve the quality of the work environment at MI Nurul Huda Pulau Batu. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with an inductive thought flow. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data obtained are then analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing so as to produce a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon being studied. The results of the study show that the dynamics of the work environment of teachers at MI Nurul Huda Pulau Batu are influenced by hygienic factors and motivational factors that are gradually developing. In terms of hygienic factors, there have been improvements in the aspects of salary, facilities, policies, and communication patterns that contribute to reducing job dissatisfaction and creating more conducive working conditions, although there are still limitations, especially in the welfare of honorary teachers. Meanwhile, in terms of motivational factors, there are efforts to improve through the provision of informal appreciation, the growth of professional responsibility, and opportunities to develop teachers' potential through training and external activities, although they have not been supported by a formally structured system.
