The injection of pathogenic fungi has been employed as an approach to accelerate agarwood formation in response to increasing market demand. This study aimed to determine the effects of different Fusarium sp. isolates and inoculum concentrations on agarwood formation. The fungi used were FusCB1, FusCB2, FusCB3, and BD2 at concentrations of 1{$\times$}10{$^6$} and 1{$\times$}10{$^7$} conidia/mL, with PDB as the control. All isolates exhibited cellulase and laccase activities, indicating their enzymatic potential to support infection in agarwood tissues. Inoculation with Fusarium sp. stimulated agarwood formation, as indicated by changes in the metabolite profile based on GCMS analysis. The FusCB1 treatment at a concentration of 1{$\times$}10{$^7$} conidia/mL produced isoaromadendrene epoxide, a sesquiterpenoid compound associated with the characteristic aroma of agarwood, and resulted in the highest aroma intensity based on the olfactory test. Therefore, artificial inoculation using Fusarium sp. has potential as an efficient approach for the development of agarwood cultivation technology.} }
