This\r\nstudy aims to analyze a model for strengthening risk management\r\neffectiveness based on the principle of Saddu Dzari’ah in Islamic\r\nbanking. The study employs a quantitative approach using Structural\r\nequation modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), with data\r\ncollected through structured questionnaires administered to\r\nrespondents directly involved in risk management at BSI.\r\nThe results indicate that all hypotheses (H1–H10) are supported.\r\nManagement Commitment (X1), Organizational Culture (X2), and\r\nMRM Implementation (X3) each demonstrated a positive and\r\nsignificant effect on Saddu Dzari’ah (Z), with MRM Implementation\r\nemerging as the strongest technical predictor (path coefficient = 0.498;\r\nT = 10.448; p < 0.001). All three variables, together with Saddu\r\nDzari’ah, significantly influenced Risk Management Effectiveness\r\n(Y). Mediation analysis (H8–H10) further confirmed that the Saddu\r\nDzari’ah principle successfully mediates the relationship between the\r\nindependent variables and risk management effectiveness. These\r\nfindings provide empirical evidence that risk management\r\neffectiveness in Islamic banking is not solely determined by\r\nmanagerial support and organizational culture, but equally requires the\r\nimplementation of the Saddu Dzari’ah principle as a tangible\r\nmanifestation of proactive preventive measures, supported by a robust\r\nMRM system."^^ .
