At the same time, digital technology has also generated challenges related to students‘ moral conduct and character development. This study aims to: (1) explore the urgency of moral character development among vocational high school students; (2) examine the implementation of moral character development; (3) analyze the roles of teachers, parents, and the community in supporting students‘ moral character development; and (4) construct a model of moral character development for vocational high school students in the digital era in Bantul Regency. This study employed a qualitative approach and was conducted at SMKN 1 Bantul, SMKN 1 Sewon, and SMKN 1 Pandak. The participants included school principals, teachers, students, parents, and community members from each school, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The trustworthiness of the data was ensured through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The findings demonstrate that: (1) moral character development for vocational high school students in the digital era is essential for fostering a balance between academic excellence and spiritual awareness, preparing students to demonstrate integrity in the workplace, developing positive social interactions, and strengthening self-control in digital environments; (2) moral character development is implemented through the integration of moral values into the use of digital technology, the cultivation of a positive school digital culture, religious guidance, and synergy among teachers, parents, and the community; (3) moral character development takes place through the interconnected roles of the family, school, and community, with parents serving as mentors within the family, teachers acting as guides and role models at school, and the community providing social supervision and reinforcing shared norms; and (4) this study develops a model of moral character development for vocational high school students in the digital era grounded in Islamic values through the integration of school culture, role modeling, habituation, supervision, and the adaptive and contextual use of technology. This model is directed toward developing students who are religious, responsible, critical, ethically aware, and capable of demonstrating moral conduct in both physical and digital environments. The theoretical contribution of this study lies in extending the concept of moral character development in the digital era from an individually centered process of value internalization toward an integrative-transformative process of digital moral formation. This process connects spiritual awareness, moral habituation, role modeling, school culture, cross-environmental supervision, and the use of digital technology. Within this construction, the digital sphere is understood not merely as an object of supervision, but also as a space in which students enact, negotiate, and demonstrate their moral character in everyday life.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">370. 114 Pendidikan Moral, Pendidikan Karakter</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-08-24</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_79770"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_79770_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
