N2  - This study has perfomed to find out: (1) implementation
processes in founding village by PPM IAIN Sunan Kalijaga at
Mulo village, Wonosari, Gunungkidul, and (2) the impact of that
implementation processes on community's live.
In this study, we used qualitative methode as an approach to
the problem. Observation, interview and documentation are
perfomed in collecting data, and it involves IAIN investigators,
important figures of the community, either local government or
religious figures, and the community itself. An interactive model
in data analysis from Miles and Huberman is used in data
collection, data reduction, representation and in drawing
conclusion.
The results of this research suggest that: (1) The process of
implementation of village founding suggests that (a) Direction
or region-sidedness assistance focused to the objective people,
i.e. muslim community at Mulo and Kandri village; (b) The
Processes of assistance involves many parties, i.e., people, either
they live in Mulo or leave their home to make their way in life at
another places, and all government agencies of the village, to
participate in this activities; (c) The assistance activities to the
people have been able to develop religious assistance activities
through non formal education under coordination of ta'mirs.
(2) The impact of founding village program suggests that (a)
There is suitability of this program to people's need; (b) There is an adequately progressive improvement in religious live of people
(especially children and adolescents) after assistance, especially
in their awareness in performing ritual prayers and teaching of
Islam; and (c) There is improvement in institution for
religiousness, that is reinforcement in organization of ta'mirs
masjid Al-Ikhlas and institution for Qur'an education.
