N2  - Al-Qur'an is revealed to Muhammad saw in order to tought to
all peopleas long as they live. As the holy books of moslems al-
Qur'an is one of texts with an universal content and should be
recited by moslems. Hadiths explain that reciting al-Qur'an is a
worship like prayer and fisting.
In society circle of moslems there are big attentions to teach and
recite al-Qur'an, it seems with several al-Qur'an Educational
Institutions (TPA) founded by group of moslems that teach al-
Qur'an to moslems children.
The aim of this study is to turn attentions to socialize al-Qur'an
in moslem family with al-Qur'an teaching and reciting program
for older group of moslems at Sambilegi village Maguwoharjo
Depok Sleman Yogyakarta in the hope of al-Qur'an being a daily
moslems recitation.
