Method which used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. Population in this research is all students in Islamic Elementary School Teaching UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta at grade 2010/2011. This research is a population research, so the number of population become a sample research. Based on the data that have been processed to be known that grade 2010/ 2011 student information literacy in Islamic Elementary School Teaching UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta pertained good category proven by Grand Mean equal to 2,83. From identify step, pertained good with Grand Mean equal 2,66. From explore step, pertained good category with Grand Mean equal 2,82. From select of information step, pertained good category with Grand Mean equal 2,71. From organize of information step, pertained good category with Grand Mean equal 2,83. From create of information step, pertained good category with Grand Mean equal 2,97. From present of information step, pertained good category with Grand Mean equal 2,83. From assess of information step, pertained good category with Grand Mean equal 2,86. From apply of information step, pertained good category with Grand Mean equal 2,96. Islamic Elementary School Teaching UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is expected to improve and develop the skills of students with information literacy training is more complex and also uses a comprehensive model of information literacy so that students have the ability and the provision of adequate information literacy.
