In this paper, the teacher explained the strategy in using the school library which includes implementing learning in the library, reading mandatory activities, the use of a collection of folk tales and poetry as supplementary material in the classroom, as the place of manufacture and utilization wall magazine fiction collection to make a synopsis. The type of method used is qualitative. In this study the researcher to obtain valid data using multiple data collection techniques are nonparticipant observation, interviews, and documentation. All qualitative data obtained will be analyzed using Miles and Huberman models through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. In this qualitative study using validity and reliability include test, credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and confirmability (objectivity). The results of this research note that the strategy of teachers in the use of school libraries on Indonesian subjects in class V SDN Tempursari Sleman Prambanan is implementing learning in libraries, utilizing a collection of folk tales and poems in class, held a must-read, and utilize library as the manufacture of wall magazines. SDN library Tempursari Prambanan Sleman have benefits that are very important in helping the learning process. Given the school library affects the teaching and learning process, it is expected to the school and library managers to increase use of the library in order to support the teaching and learning process in the school well and smoothly. In addition to the need for additional infrastructure in the form of a library reading table, a collection that suits the user's needs, the showcase for a collection of references, and a means of instructive games.
