"The purpose of this study is to determine a strategy - a strategy that teachers in the\r\nuse of school libraries on Indonesian subjects for Elementary School fifth grade\r\nstudents Tempursari Prambanan, Sleman. In this paper, the teacher explained the\r\nstrategy in using the school library which includes implementing learning in the\r\nlibrary, reading mandatory activities, the use of a collection of folk tales and\r\npoetry as supplementary material in the classroom, as the place of manufacture\r\nand utilization wall magazine fiction collection to make a synopsis. The type of\r\nmethod used is qualitative. In this study the researcher to obtain valid data using\r\nmultiple data collection techniques are nonparticipant observation, interviews, and\r\ndocumentation. All qualitative data obtained will be analyzed using Miles and\r\nHuberman models through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, drawing\r\nconclusions and verification. In this qualitative study using validity and reliability\r\ninclude test, credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity),\r\ndependability (reliability), and confirmability (objectivity). The results of this\r\nresearch note that the strategy of teachers in the use of school libraries on\r\nIndonesian subjects in class V SDN Tempursari Sleman Prambanan is\r\nimplementing learning in libraries, utilizing a collection of folk tales and poems in\r\nclass, held a must-read, and utilize library as the manufacture of wall magazines.\r\nSDN library Tempursari Prambanan Sleman have benefits that are very important\r\nin helping the learning process. Given the school library affects the teaching and\r\nlearning process, it is expected to the school and library managers to increase use\r\nof the library in order to support the teaching and learning process in the school\r\nwell and smoothly.
