Some epistemological issues that are compared one another are the meaning of knowledge (ontological perspective), source of knowledge and means to achieve such knowledge, ways to achieve knowledge (epistemological perspective), and knowledge validity. These issues will be elaborated mainly based on Taymiyyah and Popper's statements in various sources. However, the author will also employ other thinkers who have concern in the same issues, either supporting their arguments or vice versa.
