Learning method which used compact disc interactive was compared with traditional learning method which the teacher explained the materials. The study participants were 40 kindergarten students of TK Pertiwi Ngablak Magelang. Twenty students were given compact disc interactive, and twenty students were given explanations by their teacher. Learning motivation data was collected by observation based on Anderson \& Faust theory. The result shows that there is significant difference student's learning motivation in Islamic studies between students which given compact disc interactive and student which given traditional learning method (t = 2,795; p{\ensuremath{<}}0,01). This result means student's learning motivation in Islamic studies with compact disc interactive (mean = 7,58) is higher than student's learning motivation in Islamic studies with traditional learning method (mean = 5,22)} }
