%X This research aims to prove (1) the existence of the influence of picture books  to the students attraction in Widoro Elementary School Yogyakarta, (2) It is to  describe how passion of read book in Widoro Elemtary School Yogyakarta, dan (3) It  is to proof the impact of picture books to reading interest. This research is a  quantitative researcch by its technique of data research uses questionnaire. The data  analysisis using product moment correlation then the data is processedby using SPSS  version 19 for windows. The risults of this research shows that the influences of  picture books to the raeder attraction in Widoro Elementary School Yogyakarta have  a positive relationship and influence the reader attraction in Widoro Elemtary School  Yogyakarta. It is shown by correlation value obtained at 0,612 so thathesignificant  level of 5% tabel is 0,349. Picture books in Widoro Elementary School Yogyakarta  included in the excellent category this is proved by the point of gand mean that is  3,39. The correlation coefficient is positive. Itmeans more picture books in Widoro  Elemtary School Yogyakarta is better to the reader attraction in Widoro Elemtary  School Yogyakarta.Then riter gives suggestion every school should make library  interesting and add more variatif picture books by doing this way, it will make the  students interested in reading a book in library.        Key words: Picture Books, child’s story, and Rearer attraction.
