%X This study aimed to describe the quality SIMPUS (Library Management
Information System) in the Library of the Faculty of Economics, University of
Indonesia Yogyakarta Islam as analysis software development. The method used in
this research is descriptive quantitative methods, the study subjects all active students
of the Faculty of Economics Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta as pemustaka.
The population of the study were all students enrolled as a student at the Faculty of
Economics Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta number of 4088 students. Of the
population to be sampled by Taro Yamane formula, obtained samples totaling 98
people. Sampling using accidental sampling. The variable in this study is a single,
quality SIMPUS. The methods and techniques used in the method of data
pegumpulan questionnaire (questionnaire), interview and observation. Analysis of the
data using formulas and Grand Mean Mean. Measurement of effectiveness based on
Likert scale (1-4) the results were interpreted to be very good, not excellent, good,
and excellent. The results showed that students' perceptions of the quality of
reference services at the Library of Economics Faculty of the Islamic University of
Indonesia Yogyakarta quite well with the results of the total average value of 2.89.
The details of the arithmetic average of five dimensions of service are as follows: the
truth by calculating the average value of 2.93; reliability by calculating the average
value of 2.75, the efficiency of the arithmetic mean value of 2.98; integrity with an
average the average count 2.98, and reusability of the arithmetic mean value of 2.84.
In this study, researchers gave suggestions to the Library of the Faculty of Economics
UII as follows: to make improvements to the program SIMPUS since the advent of
statement error is very high, the need for manual SIMPUS, to always do update data.
