abstract: Technical Implementation Unit Computer and Information Systems Center is
one of the technical services unit at the State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga
having responsibilities in the development and application of information technology
and has an important role in the provision of quality services that exist in the
university administration. However there has been no monitoring and performance
assessment has not been done regularly. To overcome these problems, need a
evaluation in the form of information technology with governance audit. Information
Technology Governance Audit is activity to measure how well the information
technology governance of the organization is run. Measurements were taken from a
standard COBIT 4.1 that consists of Maturity Level, Control Objectives and Goals
And Metrics. COBIT standard is used because it is the most complete guide of best
practices in IT management, also have a pretty good compromise in its breadth of
coverage and detailed management processes.
Acquire and Implement domain consists of 7 subdomain identify automated
solutions, acquire and maintain application software, acquire and maintain
technology infrastructure, enable operation and use, procure IT resources, manage
changes, and install and acredit solutions and changes. At acquire and implement
domain there are 40 process control objectives in each subdomain.
The results of the audit showed that the existing IT governance at the
Technical Unit and the Computer Center Information System has been running quite
well with the maturity level of 1.71 which means that IT management has been
approached repeat but intuitive. This means that IT activities in the Acquire and
Implement domain is applied. However, there are several IT performance must be
improved, developed and organized in terms of strategic planning, documentation
and implementation to maintenance.
