N2  - This study aims to describe the applicability collection of smart motor at Library and Archives Office of KulonProgo. This research is quantitative descriptive research. Subjects in this study is the collection smart motor, while the object of this research is the applicability collection. The population used in this study is the title of the book was taken in 1449 using a sample of Michel and Isca formula with an error rate of 5% obtained 314 titles each sample was then divided the class stratified. In this study, there is one variable that is applicability collection. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews and, documentation.Research instrument using a checklist.Analysis of the data using the formula Sudijono the percentage calculation. The results in the collection of Motor Smart Library and Archives Office of KulonProgo is administered during the period March 2012-April2013 is 77.34%, which means almost the entire collection of books used. Collection highest percentage at 94.44% Religion and class collection of most low applicability English 33.33%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keterpakaian koleksi Motor Pintar di Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Koleksi Motor Pintar, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah keterpakaian koleksi. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1449 judul buku kemudian diambil sampel menggunakan rumus Michel dan Isca dengan tingkat kesalahan 5% didapat 314 judul sampel kemudian dibagi tiap kelas secara berstrata. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat satu variabel yaitu keterpakaian koleksi. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan, dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan checklist. Analisis data menggunakan rumus Sudijono yaitu perhitungan prosentase. Hasil penelitian koleksi Motor Pintar di Kantor Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kabupaten Kulon Progo yang dilayankan selama periode Maret 2012-April2013 adalah 77,34% yang artinya hampir seluruh buku koleksi dipakai. Koleksi paling tinggi prosentasenya pada kelas Agama 94,44% dan keterpakaian koleksi paling rendah Bahasa 33,33%.
