Abstract

influence of the availability of fiction book collection towards the visiting influence of visitor in Library of Kulon Progo Regency ? And how the extent to influence of fiction book collection towards the visiting influence of visitor in Library of Kulon Progo Regency? The purpose of this research was to know the influence of availability of fiction book collection towards the visiting influence of visitor in Library of Kulon Progo Regency and to know what the extent to influence of the availability fictive book collection towards the visiting interest in visitor in Library of Kulon Progo Regency. The hypothesis taken was the availability of fiction book collection has influence towards the visiting influence of visitor in Library of Kulon Progo Regency. The variable used was variable of available of the availabilty of fiction book collection (independent variable) and visiting interest to visitor (dependent variable). Method of data collection used observation, questionnaire, documentation and interview. Sample drawing was accidental sample by sample total of 99 respondent. Method of analysis used was quantitative analysis of simple linier regression. Data was processed by program SPSS version 20 for windows. Result analysis shows there is influence between the availabilty of fiction books collection toward interest of visitors. It can be seen from t count of 11.532 meanwhile t table of 1,661 by procedure of Ho is rejected and ha is accapted, if t count more than t table. Thus it can be gained t count of (11,532) > t table (1,661). Thus hypotesis stating that there is a significant influence between the availability of fiction books collection towards interest of visitors is accepted and proven. The magnitude of the influence of the availability of a collection of fiction book of interest in the Library Kulon Progo Regency of 0,760. If seen from the result of statistic analysis through diversification by correlation table and gained the calculation to the visiting influence between Variable avalability of book of fiction with an interest of visitors for 0,760 beta, of which means that the correlation inter-variable is strong and the direction of correlation is positive by level of cofficient significance is significantly seen from the value of 0,000 on probability level <0,05.
