Abstract
Program pendidikan ketrampilan mempunyai kurikulum tersendiri yang terlepas dari kurikulum sekolah di pagi hari. Tenaga pengajarnya sengaja didatangkan langsung dari Departemen Pendidikan Nasional, yaitu pengajar yang memang punya keahlian sesuai dengan bidangnya. Dengan begitu proses pembelajarannya akan tercapai secara maksimal dan akan menghasilkan lulusan yang profesional. Penentuan informan penelitian dilakkan secara purposive (purposive sampling), dengan metode pengumpulan datanya melalui interview, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa non statistik atau analisa kualitatif. Hasil yang dicapai dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan ketrampilan di MAN Kudus 2 meliputi nilai ujian program ketrampilan maupun hasil karya siswa. Berdasarkan nilai ujian program ketrampilan, prestasi siswa di atas rata-rata. Ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan ketrampilan sudah dapat dikatakan berjalan dengan baik. Hasil karya siswapun hasilnya cukup memuaskan, meskipun belum maksimal.
