Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan konsep strategi pembelajaran aktif dalam buku Active Learning 101 Strategies to Teach Any Subject dalam pengajaran fiqih di MTs Tsanawiyah Pondok Pabelan. Selain itu untuk mengetahui keuntungan dan kerugian apabila konsep strategi pengajaran aktif tersebut diterapkan dalam pengajaran fiqih. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan. Subyek yang menjadi sumber data terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru bidang studi fiqih, dan siswa-siswi kelas dua Pondok Pabelan tahun ajaran 2001/2002. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi, dan metode tes. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara pengajaran fqih yang menggunakan metode lama dengan strategi pengajaran aktif yang terdapat dalam buku tersebut di atas. Strategi aktif learning sangat bagus dan sesuai untuk diterapkan sebagai variasi dalam pengajaran fiqih. Selai n itu,strategi ini dapat meningkatkan kecakapan dan pemahaman para siswa terhadap materi pelajaran.
