Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of school libraries in supporting student learning MAN Wonokromo Bantul . This type of study is using a qualitative descriptive study . Methods of data collection in this research that uses methods of observation , interviews , and documentation . Analysis of the data used in this study is the observation method of data reduction through moderate , in-depth interviews , and documentation so that in can be that MAN Wonokromo Bantul own special space library . Subjects in this study is taking a subject coordinator ( head librarian ) , librarians , teachers , and students , while the object of research is the role of school libraries in supporting student learning MAN Wonokromo Bantul . Based on the results of research and data analysis conducted by researchers note that the role of school libraries in supporting student learning MAN Wonokromo Bantul used as planting and development interests, educating student discipline , as a place of recreation material gain , as a simple research , as a means of education , and add insight to the history and culture.
