Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan unuk mengetahui persiapan, dan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan sekolah dalam penerapan iptek pada bidang studi pendidikan agama Islam di SLTP Islam Al Azhar 5 Cirebon, selain untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan iptek tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa dengan adanya penerapan iptek pada bidang studi Pendidikan Agama Islam telah memberikan kontribusi pada peserta didik berupa pengetahuan yang integral antara pengetahuan agama dan pengetahuan umum, yang mempermudah dalam memahami ajaran Islam sehingga berimplikasi pada sikap dan perilaku siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata kunci: iptek, Pendidikan Agama Islam
