Abstract

The meaning of life is an important, valuable and giving a special value to somebody. If the meaning of life is successfully found and conducted well, thus it will cause the life felt so meaningful and necessary. The Autism’s parents can acquire the meaning of life from worshiping (get closer to the God). Start of worship and believe of God, the Autism’s parents trying to being closer to the God, seeking for His mercies and sincere. By closing up to the God, the parents of Autism gain the peace, hopes, calm, and felt so happy. This research is aim to knowing how the Autism’s parents can find the meaning of life, what kind of the problem which is faced in finding the essence of life, and how the process of seeking the meaning of life it self. The kind of this research is qualitative research with fenomenology. The data collection is by observing and interview method. The results of the research clue that both of the informant were great parents, patient and determined to take care of their Autism’s children. To find the meaning of life, both of the informant passed some process that is after the child diagnosed by the doctor. Both of them trying to seek for a medical help, joining the Autism seminar, getting support from family, friends and the parent who has an Autism children. In other side that the restriction factor is when both of informant didn’t have same vision with their husbands. Meanwhile to find the meaning of life of both informant are emotional management, optimism, good social relationship, doing positive activities, and getting closer to the God. After all were done, the informant felt self awareness, found better meaning of life, make better life, religious in depth, cut worldly stuff, and also submit to face the better life destination.
