Abstract
Kualitas siswa tidak dapat dilihat dari nilai hasil belajar yang berupa angka saja tapi kualitas siswa dapat dinilai melalui tingkah laku, tindakan, kegiatan yang dilakukan siswa setiap hari sesuai dengan aqidah akhlak. Para guru diharapkan lebih banyak memberikan tekanan pada bidang kognitif, supaya hasil belajar tampak pada siswa setelah siswa menerima pelajaran aqidah akhlak dapat diterapkan di lingkungan masyarakat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan metode penentuan subyeknya melalui populasi, sampel menggunakan teknik sampling. Metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode observasi, interview, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisa data yang bersifat kualitatif menggunakan metode non statistic, sedang menganalisa data kuantitatif menggunakan statistic. Setelah dilakukan analisis dengan perhitungan statistic maka di kalangan siswa yang bertempat tinggal di dalam pondok pesantren dengan yang bertempat di luar pondok pesantren tidak terdapat perbedaan dalam prestasi belajar siswa dalam bidang studi aqidah akhlak yang signifikan.
