Abstract
Di Madrasah Aliyah Ali MAksum, belajar kelompok digunakan sebagai sarana belajar yang berfungsi membantu kegiatan belajar siswa. Belajar kelompok ini dilakukan dengan cara menyajikan bahan pelajaran dengan memerintahkan kepada para pelajar (setelah mereka dikelompokkan) mengerjakan tugas untuk mencapai tujuan pengajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research), sumber datanya digolongkan sebagai data primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan metode interview,dokumentasi, dan observasi, sedang teknik analisa datanya menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dengan cara berfikir induktif, deduktif, komparatif, dan teknik analisa data kuantitatif dengan teknik statistik. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi belajar siswa yang aktif mengikuti belajar kelompok dengan siswa yang tidak aktif belajar kelompok. Karena semakin aktif para siswa dalam mengikuti belajar kelompok, maka semakin baik prestasi belajar siswa di sekolah.
