Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of (1) organizational communication environment to employee performance, (2) work motivation on employee performance, (3) organizational communication environment and motivation jointly to employee performance. The research was conducted at the Regional Office of Tax Yogyakarta. The research method used was a survey method with quantitative approach. The theory is used as the basis in this study is the theory of organizational communication environment, motivation and the performance of employees, work in Pace and Faules, Harold Koontz, and Bernadi and Russell. The study population was all employees remain Yogyakarta tax offices totaling 110 employees and use 20 responden for trials conducted, then used 90 responden for sample. Instrument organizational communication environment, employee motivation and employee performance are developed from the theory used. Instruments of three variables form questionnaire and the results of trials conducted instruments product moment correlation technique and reliability tests with Cronbach alpha formula. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression techniques. The results conclude: there is positive communication between organizational communication environment (X1) with employee performance (Y), there is a positive influence between work motivation (X2) with employee performance (Y), there is positive communication between organizational communication environment (X1) and work motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y). From the results of this study it can be concluded that communication between organizational communication environment and motivation to work either individually or jointly provide. Contribute significantly towards the performance of employees. Keywords: Organizational Environment, Motivation and Performance of employees
