Abstract

Deciding software’s quality is greatly influenced by accuracy in software testing process. Software testing become very important process in system development. Test plan is needed to test software’s features. At the same time, software tester is needed to test a software. Metric is used to calculate percentage of each factor of the testing. Is the metric in the test plan can be accepted by the software tester? Therefore, researchers gave test plan to five software tester and calculate the test results. Testing of software, that is KeePass Password Safe 1.10 and PDF Split and Merge 2.1.0. conducted to determine the test results from software quality metric is correctness and usability. Results from this study is the conclusion of the test results of both the software and whether the metric can be accepted by the software tester. Test results from KeePass Password Safe 1.10 for software quality metric correctness is 96,2% and for software quality metric usability is 77,8%. Test results from PDF Split and Merge 2.1.0 for software quality metric correctness is 93,3% and for software quality metric usability is 82,6%. Metric for software quality metric correctness and software quality metric usability is accepted by software tester evidenced by the average value of the difference (Δ ) on each test both software quality factor is 0 after verification.
