Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to product science learning video on the subject of earth and universe for deaf students, (2) to determine the quality of the developed video, (3) to determine the responds of the students towards the developed learning video. This research is a research of the development by procedural models. The developmental procedure uses procedure which is developed by Puslitjaknov by five steps, those are: 1) analyzing the developed product, 2) developing the first product, 3) validating and revising by the expert, 4) trialing small-scaled field and revising the product, 5) trialing big-scaled field and the last product. The instrument used was a paper of validation, appraisal scale and respon scale. Technique analysis is done by changing the quantitative data into qualitative data. The results of this research are: 1) science learning video on the subject of earth and universe for deaf student has been produced; 2) based on the assessment of the subject expert, media expert and science teacher, it obtains the videos quality with each scores are 2.95 (good), 3.92 (excellent), 3.61 (excellent); 3) based on the students respond on limited test and extensive test, the videos get very agree responds with each scores are 1,00 and 0,96.
