Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian Respon Pertumbuhan Planlet Anggrek Tebu (Grammatophyllum speciosum) Terhadap Kombinasi BAP dan NAA dalam Media VW (vacin dan went) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan planlet anggrek tebu terhadap kombinasi BAP dan NAA pada media VW, serta mengetahui kombinasi zat pengatur tumbuh BAP dan NAA yang optimal pada planlet anggrek tebu. Penelitian ini menggunakan planlet anggrek tebu yang berumur 5 bulan yang di tanam pada medium VW dengan kombinasi hormon NAA dan BAP. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan pola faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu faktor auksin (NAA) konsentrasi 0 mg/l, 2 mg/l, 3 mg/l dan faktor sitokinin (BAP) konsentrasi 0,2 mg/l, 0,5 mg/l 0,9 mg/l, sehingga didapatkan 9 macam kombinasi. Parameter yang di amati meliputi: jumlah tunas, tinggi planlet, jumlah daun, panjang daun, jumlah akar, dan panjang akar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, kemudian dilanjutkan uji DMRT dengan taraf 5%. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, pada perlakuan kombinasi memang ada respon pertumbuhan terhadap kontrol. Tetapi setelah dilakukan uji statistik data yang didapat bahwa tidak ada perbedaan antara kontrol dengan perlakuan terhadap pertumbuhan anggrek tebu. Sehingga dapat dikatakan pada perlakuan kontrol sudah mampu memberikan pertumbuhan anggrek tebu (G. Speciosum).
