Abstract

In this modern era, political communication is proving to be a pretty interesting study in the event political. The development of political communication can not be disassociated from the process of democratization we are increasingly crept toward improvement. Accountability and transparency in the implementation of democracy has become the main priorities for democratic hopefully produce together by the various groups. Political communication increasingly in demand as a political strategy proved quite effective at this time in the grossed community support. That is, through the method of political communication easier for political parties to sell its products to the public. So that we actualize ideology can be understood by the public. As we aktualisasikan ideology can be understood by the community. No wonder the new Democratic Party stand on September 9, 2001 manpu compelled community. Since the 2004 election following the contestants a winner in the Partai Demokrat. The success of the partai led by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono continued in 2009 election. Positive results in the capture of the Democratic Party 2009 presidential chair also comes with a stunning result in the 2009 legislative elections Electoral District which includes three eastern Java, Situbondo, Bondowoso, and Banyuangi. Democrats picked up two seats in parliament. This suggests that the Democratic Party could be a winner in the 2009 election. The results obtained in this study is the effort made DPC Democratic Party in the 2009 legislative elections, among others: a) socialization work program of the Democratic Party, b) a successful team, c) political education, d) mapping of voters, voters were divided into 3 groups (three), namely: 1) the mass of confused, 2) mass support, and 3) the mass is not supporting. Democrats DPC barriers that NU culture community character which is fanaticism PKB and PPP. While the factors that support the following: a) socioreligious groups, b) the way the community views the Democratic Party, c) candidates figure, e) the party program, and f) relational ties with the community members of the Democratic Party.
