Abstract

This research has a purpose to evaluate an applying Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 7495:2009 about public library service in district Sragen. The approach that is used , qualitative. The subject of this research is public library in district Sragen, whereas the object that is used in this research is public library service in district Sragen from the analysis of SNI 7495:2009, it is the open gate library, reading service, circulation service, reference service, mobile library service, information search service, and the user guidance service. The technique of collecting data is done with interview, observation and documentation. Data validity test uses credibility test (validity internal), transferability (validity eksternal), dependability (reliability) and confirmability (objectivity). Data analysis technique uses qualitative. The result of the research shows that public library service in district Sragen has fulfilled Standard Nasional Indonesia 7495:2009 with percentage 100%. The total of collection fulfills SNI 7495:2009 with percentage 987,28%. The kinds of collection fulfill SNI 7495:200 with the criteria of SNI that has been fulfilled about the kinds of collection, they are print work, print record and so forth. The periodic of publication fulfills SNI 7495:2009 with percentage 116,7%. Human resource fulfill SNI 7495:2009 with percentage 257,14%. Public service fulfills SNI 7495:2009 with the criteria of SNI that has been fulfilled about public service, it is 35 hour, whereas public library in district Sragen has the total public service, 72 hour. The kind of service fulfills SNI 7495:2009 with precentage 116,67%. The usage of information technology fulfills SNI 7495:2009 with statement from Sir Febriyanto stating that public library service in district Sragen has had internet service and hotspot, and also the budget of library fulfills SNI 7495:2009 where that statement is stated by Mom Tri Andiyas who states that the source of public library budget in district Sragen from APBD and other source that is not binded.
