Abstract

The research about the result of IKM’S (Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat) Survey due to the Struggle of Increase the Public Service Quality to Learn the IKM’s role toward service quality and also to knowing effort what effort which has been running in reviewing IKM’s result on KPAD Gunungkidul. This research use qualitative research method. The data collecting method including interview, observation, and documentation, to analyze the data. The writer do the following steps : (1) data reduction; choose the data related to the theme. (2) data serving; explain the data from the interview. (3) the conclusion; to conclude the analysys result after all the steps are done. Whereas the data validity test on this research the writer do which 4 steps: credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability. This research result is concluded that IKM’s implementation give contribution against the increase of service quality due 14 indicators, that is: Ease for Access, Control, Education, dan Promotion. Obstacles that may hamper service based on 14 indicator is (1) the officers limitation of KPAD Gunungkidul. (2) the numerous of the job trial students. (3) there are not all books fitted with barcode.
