Abstract
Public service advertisements are Ads is non commercial. Public service advertisements are used to convey information, mempersuasi or educate audiences, with the aim of social benefits. The Government of the city using the public service advertisements in the form of outdoor media i.e. banner stand "Area Without Smoking" in disseminating the local regulations concerning the prohibition of smoking in public places as well as setting "Area Without Smoking" in Yogyakarta City Hall. It aims to provide Awareness to the public about the ban on smoking in public places and give a sense of comfort free of cigarette smoke The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of outdoor media Advertising (analysis of public service announcement Banner Stand "Areas Without Smoking" in Yogyakarta City Hall, reviewed by Epic Models get a score value of Dimension Empahty 3.90, Persuasion 3,86 3.83, Communication, Impact and outcomes 3,91 average score Epic Models achieve 3,89. So that when viewed from a judgment entered in the category effectively.Based on the Agenda Setting Theory that form tends to be in the form of public Agenda.
