Abstract

Promotion Evaluate at Borobudur Museum Gallery (SWOT Analysis about Promotion Strategy to Improve the Number of Visitor. This research begin from a phenomenon about the least number of Borobudur Museum Gallery visitors. The problem in this research is how to evaluate promotion strategy for increase the number of Borobudur Museum Gallery visitors with SWOT analysis. Promotion strategy that use in Borobudur Museum Gallery consist of advertising, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, and personal selling. This is qualitative research to do evaluation activities for Borobudur museum gallery. The function of this evaluation is to explain the promotion activity effect. The data collection’s has done by observation, documentation, and interview. This research use SWOT analysis (Strength, weakness, opportunities, and threat). This analysis is used to evaluate the promotion strategy and source of making plans. The research result show that promotion activities on the Borobudur Museum Gallery is not maximum and need to be evaluated. SWOT analysis show that evaluation activity can be show from the strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat in Borobudur Museum Gallery.
