Abstract
This research was done in order to know: (1) The raising critical thinking skill of student who join the lesson using discovery learning models on heat and heat transfer. (2) The effectiveness discovery learning models toward critical thinking skill student’s attainment on heat and heat transfer. This research is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. We used parametric statistic as data analysis. The variable in this research consists of independent variable called discovery learning models and dependent variable called critical thinking skill. Result of this research showed: (1) Contained significant raising of the student who join lesson using discovery learning models toward critical thinking skill on heat and heat transfer (2) discovery learning model is more effective to attainment of student critical thinking skills on heat and heat transfer.
