Abstract

This study aims to 1) Develop media of physics Comics with content integration-interconnection the matter of vibration, waves, and sound for the students of class VIII, 2) Knowing the media of Physics comics with content integration to interconnection the matter of vibration, waves, and sound for students class VIII developed, 3) Knowing learner’s response of media Physics comics at the material vibration, waves, and sound developed. This research is the development or R & D with the procedural model. adapting to development of research procedures Puslitjaknov which involves five main steps: (1) Conduct analysis of the product to be developed, (2) develop initial product, (3) Validation of experts and revision, (4) small-scale field trials and product revision, (5) a large-scale field trials and the final product. Data collection techniques used in this research is the method using a Likert scale questionnaire created in the form of a checklist with a scale of 4. Instruments for students in the form of student response scale that is using Guttman scale made in the form of a checklist. The results showed that 1) Products that are developed in the form of comic Physical Media with Content Integration Topic-Interconnections Vibrations, Waves and Sound. 2) The quality of comics medium physics developed according to media experts and expert-interconnect integration is Good (B), according to experts and material physics teacher is Very Good (SB). 3) The response of students to the physics comics on limited trial obtained percentage (Yes) 84.28%, while the large-scale field test was obtained percentage (Yes) 95.48%.
