Abstract
Indonesian people expect a leader who has a good character and strong in order to realize the ideals of statehood Indonesian society that is prosperous, just and prosperous. Refl ecting on the character of the leaders of Indonesia as written in the book 4th grade thematic / MI, Indonesian people will be able to bounce back to realize the glory, prosperity ever felt in the past. Uphold the values of honesty, trust, devotion, courage, as indicated Indonesian leader must be a character of every Indonesian citizen. The character is indispensable to achieve a better Indonesia.
