Abstract

[INDONESIA] Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) dengan minat melakukan konseling di SMA. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMA Negeri Kebakkramat dengan jumlah total 105 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan skala minat melakukan konseling di sekolah dan skala persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru BK. Teknik analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 15. Berdasarkan analisis data dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa minat melakukan konseling di sekolah secara positif memiliki hubungan dengan persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK). Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,557 dengan p=0.000 (p<0.05), dengan demikian hipotesis dinyatakan diterima. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi guru BK memberikan sumbangan relatif sebesar 31% pada minat melakukan konseling. Sedangkan faktor lain yang tidak teridentifikasi memiliki sumbangan efektif sebesar 69%. Kata Kunci : Persepsi siswa, kompetensi guru BK, minat konseling [ENGLISH] The purpose of this research to to determine the relation of student’s perception toward the competence of guidance and counseling (BK) teacher with the interest to do counseling at SMA. Subject of this research was the students of SMA Negeri Kebakkramat with the total amounts are 105 students. Method was used in this research was quantitative method. The researcher got this research data by using interest to do counseling scale and student’s perception toward guidance and counseling (BK) teacher scale. Statistic analyzes technique that used was product moment correlation technique by Pearson with used SPSS 15 software help. Based on data analyze in this research, got result that the interest to do counseling at school positively had relation with student’s perception toward the competence of guidance and counseling (BK) teacher. Analyze result the interest got correlation coefficient value (rxy) in the amount of 0,557 with p=0.000 (p<0.05), so that the hypothesis proven received. The result tabulation of data showed that student’s perception toward the competence of BK teacher giving relative contribution in the amount of 31% on interest to do counseling. Whereas other factor doesn’t identified had effective contribution in amount of 69 %. Key word: Student’s perception, competence of BK teacher, counseling interest.
