Abstract

Nowadays, communication using the javanese language at social groups apparently began to be forgotten by adolescence. The javanese language that should be used to communicate with older people begin did not use again. They no longer see the communican, either younger or older. The communication is not conformity with the rules that exist in the javanese language speech level. This research aims to find out factors that have influenced adolescence not to speak of javanese language to communicate at social groups. This qualitative research used the phenomenological methode. This research was done with the participant observation, semi-structured interview, and documentation study as technique for getting data. While the technique of data analysis used data analysis that was said Miles and Huberman. Subjects of this research are seven people who are living in Sari Rejo II. The result of this research shows the factors that influenced adolescence do not speaking javanese language to communicate at social groups are habits, social environment and familiarity.
