Abstract

This research is either to recognize or to measure how big the impact of AirAsia Accident is in online media related to the flight image particularly for the Customers of AirAsia Trading Company included the students of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakata. In this research, the rearcher wiil do the descriptive research and use the quantitative approach. Descriptive reasearch involves collecting data in order to test hypotheses or to answer questions concerning the current status of the subjects of the study. Descriptive data are usually collected through a questionnaire survey, interviews, or observasion. The target population (member of populatin ) in this research is about 100 persons. This research will also use an insidental sampling in which a tenique in this phase is to determine the sample based on coincidence, anyone who by chance meets with the researcher, and he/she, of course, could be considered as a news source. In analyzing data the researcher will use the formula of linear regression and simple formality. From the results of the above calculation formula could be found value of 36,7 % and the rest of 63,3% is influenced by the other varable which is not involved in this model of study.
