Abstract

This research aim to describe how to a Public Relation Officer problem solving about public trust with media relations. PT. Angkasa Pura (Persero) is an operating company of airport. So if there is a problem with the airlines at one airport will impact the other service. Air Asia bleak loss QZ8501 from Juanda Airport in Surabaya aim Singapore's Changi Airport. The news about the world of aviation is widespread to the public through the media help. With so many negative news makes people lose confidence in the PT. Angkasa Pura (Persero) as manager. Media also search for data and ask for clarification to PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) regarding licensing Yogyakarta flight operations at Adisucipto International Airport. Public Relations Officer PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta trying to establish good relations with external parties and restore public confidence through Media Relations. Media relations activities that run through servicing the media, establishing a reputation of reliability, supplying good copy, cooperations in providing material, providing verification facilities and building a personal relationship with the media.
