Abstract
Glagah is one of the areas located in south coast Kulon Progo, where the area has the potential precipitate sand iron but has not been carried out exploration. Have investigation mapping sand iron distribution used geoelectric sounding method in Glagah, Temon, Kulon Progo. Research aims to knows layers under the surface of the earth based resistivity value and he knows to scatter sand iron. Based on resistivity value, interpretation shows that expected there are 4 layers that is soil (0.29 s.d. 13511.37 Ωm), sand iron ( 0.98 s.d. 48.98 Ωm), sandstone ( 116.52 s.d. 6439.27 Ωm), sandstone by water ( 9.02 s.d. 84.44 Ωm ), clay (0.43 s.d. 27.42 Ωm). Sand iron distributions spread equally in the Glagah, Temon, Kulon Progo have resistivity value ranged from 0.98 s.d. 48.98 Ωm and are located on the depth of between 0.51 s.d. 5.78 m.
