Abstract

Research on the implementation of the partnership strategy is aimed to know the stages performed by Taman Bacaan Masyarakat Mata Aksara in that operation and implementation. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of data using the theory of Miles and Huberman with the three-step data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. While testing the validity of the data in this study conducted in four ways, that is: credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Results of this study concluded that the implementation of the partnership strategy used by Taman Bacaan Masyarakat Mata Aksara Sleman has been carried out properly. Through the implementation of four stages that is, introduction, organization, implementation, and evaluation. It's just that there are several stages that are not implemented as a whole as the absence signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the lack of follow-up evaluation. Some things that affect among conditions that do not require the holding of partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the limitations of time and place of the partners, and partnership activities are unsustainable.
